Now holding down a residency @ the Pub St Annes in Montreal – Phat sWaZy is spinnin’ the best House/Electro/Hip-hop and everything in between LIVE every Friday night. Never one to stay on one idea, sWaZy is working on a new bi weekly podcast that shares the name of the new blog (Bounce Radio) where sWaZy will play some of the newest tracks, some old school favorities as well as interviews with up and coming dj’s. Also Mr.sWaZy is working on his company titled rhythm&Grooves entertainment which will be a home away from home for the busy Dj. R&G will act as a “Dj 4 Hire” service for Dj’s looking for work but don’t know the steps to take, while also acting as a promotion service for clubs and dj’s alike….so stay tuned for big changes to come.

Started spinin’ around ‘00, one of my friends got me into House and Techno, I got myself a simple mixing program and that was that…But that’s really cutting the story short. In between then and now, I ventured into almost every form of artistic expression thru media you can imagine, a lot of which I still participate in. Not long after I startin mixing, I got into blending beats, mostly hip-hop (ill post some links to some of my mixes and mixtapes soon) From blends I went into recording and production. Under the pen of Daiz’on End I spent some good years recording, performing and producing hip-hop. I still do record music under that moniker as my love for that form of music will never die. It took a random gig helping out my buddy Dj Disbelief to bring back the Dj in me. After feeling the writer in me flow down a couple notches, I felt reborn as someone who could take other peoepls creations and give them a whole new meaning….or in other words an MC/DJ. Although Im currently focussing primarily on building up a fan base and a name spinning, I do have a production side some might know of already. In the coming months I hope to put out new singles with my listeners being the first to voice their opinions.

Fast forward to May 08′. I put out my first podcast mix online, under the series DIrrty Dancin’ (clearly a play on my alias Phat Swazy) And to be honest, for something that I started just as a way to get some good tunes in a nicely mixed fashion accross, it has blown into something that really blows me away. All of which I have the fans and listeners to thank. In the coming months I have alot planned, im lookin to launch a new mix series, where ill be hosting every episode and be featuring local djs and some of my friends in the mix so keep your eyes and ears tuned.
